I was pretty fascinated riding the Metro train into DC.

And since the weather outside was pretty icky & we were VERY limited on time, we headed indoors...
to the National Aquarium, which is the nation's oldest aquarium. (it's actually in the basement of the Commerce building)
The aquarium itself isn't anything to write home about (definitely go to Baltimore for the BEST!) but hey...
...that didn't stop me from loving it.
