bahstun...

We're in Boston! Wow. What an amazing city! And quite the change of pace from our small-town USA lifestyle! From the minute we stepped off the plane, I (Amy) feel like we have stepped into a different world!

The ROAR and screeching of the subway. Hustle and bustle. Horns honking. Walking. And more walking. People of all kinds of ethnicities. Interesting smells. Packing into the subway like a bunch of sardines. So many things happening every place you look! This is SO different from my little "suburban/small town" world! Not sure that it's the life for me, but wow- the city is amazing to behold.

Marc & I are having a fabulous time! (and we're so thankful to hear that Caroline is having a fabulous time at home with Nanny & Papa, too!)

So far we have...

enjoyed the street performers at Quincy Market...

strolled the BEAUTIFUL Beacon Hill neighborhood...

relaxed in the Boston Public Gardens...

walked the Freedom Trail & visited lots of historical sites, like this burying ground...

where Paul Revere is buried... (his tomb is actually under the small stone)

and for all of you Mac people, you can pick your jaws up off of the floor now. That's right. Three STORIES of Apple products, all encased in glass walls.

Tomorrow we'll share the highlight of our trip... that's all for now!
