After we landed, we had a 3 hour drive through lots of rain with a screaming baby (yes, at least she saved her meltdown for the car) and we finally pulled into Nanny & Papa's house around 11:30pm. But Nanny & Papa were THRILLED to meet me! Nanny took me right away and knew just how to change my diaper and get me all ready for bed! (and thankfully she did sleep as usual at night... we were worried after she had slept all day on the planes!)
And there were lots of wonderful presents waiting for me, too! Thanks, family & friends on the East coast! I got so many BEAUTIFUL outfits and sweet things!
I love you, Papa. I'm so glad I could make it out here to see you.
