alumni...

Since we're in Dallas, last night we had a get-together for our Texas Tech RUF alumni who currently live in the Dallas area. Some were around when we (Amy & Marc) first moved out to Lubbock to start RUF, and some were around RUF in the later years. It was so neat to have so many people dear to us around a table once again. In college ministry, you labor and love these students, (and in some cases, wonder if they'll ever turn out okay-- ha!) and what a joy it is to see them on the "other side" as husbands and wives and parents in the beginnings of their careers.

It really was a taste of what heaven MUST be like to see old faces, laugh at funny memories, and catch up on each other's lives.

We could tell amazing stories about each one of them, but they are all trophies of God's grace. Brian & Christina have Brayden (3 yrs.) and are expecting their 2nd son in March.

Oh, and meet Steve Percifield (aka "the new guy") who has now taken over the reigns as the new campus minister for Texas Tech RUF! We are thankful our sweet students are in good hands.
