Well guys, here are my stats from today! We are giving God thanks that I am a strong, healthy girl. We know even THAT is a blessing from Him & not a guarantee or right that we have.
Weight: 18 lbs, 9 oz. (95th percentile)
Height: 26 1/4" (75th percentile)
Head circumference: 17 1/2 (90th percentile)
It was neat to have Alyssa here to go to my appointment with me!
The doctor said I'm growing beautifully! I got 4 shots and they sure hurt, but Mommy was right there to scoop me up & tell me it's okay.

ReplyDeleteI'm very glad to hear you're healthy! Grow strong and healthy, and crush all who stand in your way. :-)
All of that said, I know how horrible shots are! They'll tell you that you "need" them. They'll come up with a million convincing reasons why you "need" them. Just remember: it really hurts. I've found that you can always justify not getting shots by saying: "Hey, at least my needle phobia keeps me from getting addicted to shooting up heroin!" :-)
Perhaps the main take-home message is: this is one of those adult silly posts. :-)
