Hold on, guys. Normally this kind of blog post wouldn't be that big of a deal, but you've gotta hear me out on this one. Okay, so I've been eating real vegetables (broccoli, green beans, etc.), real meat (chicken, tuna, salmon, beef, etc.), and all kinds of real starch-y stuff (breads, crackers, "puffs," etc.), but when it comes to real fruit, the only way I've been taking it is in the pureed baby food form. Shall we say I have been driving Mommy "bananas" refusing any pieces of real fruit. :) (I can't help it-- the texture is kinda slimy & gross feeling on my hands, you know?)
Until today! I had my first fruit! I finally decided to pick up & try some pieces of real banana (probably because I've seen pictures of kids eating bananas in my books!), and I LOVED it!!! Couldn't get enough of it & started shoving in 6 pieces at a time.
At last! I'm going bananas!
